What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part time afternoon toddler assistant position at Wolfeboro Children's Center?
Summary
We are currently seeking a part time childcare professional to work with children ages 13 months to 3 years. Applicant must be able to work 2:30 to 5:30 Monday through Friday and have some experience working with young children. This position could also include subbing as needed. This position reports to the Infant and Toddler Program Coordinator.
Duties
- Actively engage with children ages 13 months to 3 years
- Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
- Help provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
- Help ensure smooth, end of the day transition.
- Strong communication skills.
- Follow all center policies and state regulations.
- Maintain 12 hours of Professional Development yearly.
- Closing down the Toddler program at the end of the day
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of professional child care experience.
- ECE credits preferred with a minimum of 3 credits in Child Growth and Development.
- High energy.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must clear full background check.
- Strong work ethic.
- Must be 18 or older.
