What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Concrete Superintendent position at Wolff Construction, LP?
Responsibilities:
- Perform various tasks related to concrete work.
- Assist in the setup and preparation of construction sites
- Follow blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate placement of concrete
- Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools
- Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA regulations on the job site
- Collaborate with the construction team to complete projects on time and within budget
- Clean and maintain work areas to ensure a safe and organized environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in concrete work or construction is required
- Previous supervision experience
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting schematics
- Ability to supervise and manage a team of laborers effectively
Requirements:
- Must be bilingual in English & Spanish
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Basic math skills for measuring, calculating quantities, and estimating materials needed
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices in the construction industry
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers
