Roofing Superintendent

JOB DESCRIPTION

Wolfrum Roofing & Exteriors is a full-service exterior envelope contractor headquartered in Delaware, OH. We provide commercial, industrial, and institutional roofing, exteriors, and railing services in Central Ohio and the surrounding areas.

Summary/Objective

• The Roofing Superintendent is expected to assist in every phase of operations to establish a successful project. The Superintendent will report to the assigned Project Manager.

Essential Functions/Requirements

Reasonable responsibilities to perform these essential functions.

• Enforce company policies.
• Establish and drive project objectives.
• Maintain relationships with company customers; This includes being the daily contact representing WRE.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the WRE/Customer contract language and all project requirements.
• Provide administrative direction to Foremen.
• Performing constructability and coordination reviews of construction documents, gaining input from Estimators, Safety Coordinators, and Project Managers.
• Assist in the planning and development of each assigned project's schedule.
• Assist in the development of a material list
• Assist the Project Manager in creating and managing accurate and punctual project cost projections.
• Assist with the development of project-specific safety plans. Observe and document any safety matters while performing on-site visits.
• Participate in Foreman's meetings to foster collaboration between project managers, supervisors, and safety coordinators.
• Participate in customer's project meetings.
• Quality control of projects.
• Responsible for meeting project budgets and working with Project Managers.

Work Environment

Superintendents work primarily in the field and must attend on-site meetings and check in on any projects they oversee. They generally work regular business hours but are also expected to meet project deadlines as required. This position will need to be able to provide training sessions, workshops, and presentations and attend meetings, which may require travel. A Construction Assistant Project Manager can also expect to work in stressful situations.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk, or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 20 pounds.

Travel

• As required for managing specific jobs.

Additional Note

• Base salary will be negotiated.

Required Education and Experience

• A minimum of two (2) years of Superintendent or similar job experience is preferred.
• OR minimum of three (3) years of Field Foreman related experience or similar job experience
• Valid Driver's License
