What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpenter position at Wolverine Building Group?

\n- Examines blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare material cut lists and quantities as directed.
- Installs structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, and moldings.
- Constructs building framework including walls, floors, and doorframes.
- Has firm working knowledge of commercial hardware installation.
- Helps erect, level, and install building framework with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes.
- Installs finished woodwork materials given the job assignment.
- Identifies and offers solutions to problems.
- Supervises work crews, as directed.
- Completes daily task work and plans for the next day.
- Cleans work area, machines, or equipment, to maintain a clean and safe job site.
- Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment.
- Regular, predictable, and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must have reliable, consistent transportation.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Minimum of two (2) years Commercial carpentry experience preferred.
- The following trainings are required (and provided by Wolverine):
- OSHA 10-Hour certified or completed within six months of hire.
- Already or willing to become trained in:
- First Aid and CPR
- Licensed on equipment
- Heavy machinery operator cards are highly recommended.
- Certification in rigging and scaffolding is a plus.
