Safety Engineering Specialist

Job Description

  • Design Criteria: Determine design criteria for various design/build and plan/spec projects.
  • System Design: Design and hydraulically calculate complete sprinkler and standpipe systems using AutoSPRINK software.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate design with other building trades and review, comment, and approve fire protection plans and calculations of Company designers.
  • Communication: Communicate with project managers and internal teams to ensure all client and Company specifications are met.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also have experience in developing building code concepts and equivalencies, conducting building plan reviews, and conducting field reviews/inspections.
