Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Programmer/ Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and operating lasers, turrets and brake presses ensuring high-quality fabrication of materials with precision and efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of technical specifications and the ability to work with precision tools.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accuracy in production.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Fabricate components using various tools
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specified standards.
Educations, Skills and Experience
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Min 2 years programming lasers for sheet metal fabrication.
- Proven experience as a Laser Programmer/Operator.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Able to communicate effectively both oral/written.
- Ability to read blueprints, understand GD&T including ability to write, edit and troubleshoot programs and machine issues.
- Excellent multi-tasking ability, attention to detail, critical thinking, and work with minimal Supervision.
- Ability to work overtime when necessary.
