What’s the job?
- Full-time Generator Parts Specialist
- Research, accurately quote, purchase and organize generator replacement parts for internal service team and external customers.
- Proactively sell residential generators by cultivating and developing relationships with contractors and end-users.
- Assist walk-in and phone-in customers by cross selling, answering questions, resolving concerns and providing general customer service related to parts, rentals, and residential generators.
- Ensure organization and cleanliness of the Parts department.
- Serve as the primary contact for all shipping and receiving including ordering, tracking, and problem resolution.
- Responsible for annual inventory management for assigned warehouse location, including inventory maintained in Technician vehicles.
- Provide accurate, efficient, and timely quoting and invoicing of parts and residential generators.
- Develop and maintain proactive and meaningful relationships with vendors.
What’s needed?
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent with some college preferred
- 2 years of experience in a high-volume parts department or relevant generator technical experience
- Experience with material/enterprise resource planning (MRP/ERP) software is preferred
- Experience with shipping courier (UPS, FedEx, etc.) software is preferred
