To address the increasing incidence of perinatal mental health disorders in our region, Woman’s Hospital has made a commitment to developing an inpatient perinatal mental health unit. The new 10-bed inpatient unit will focus solely on the diagnosis and treatment of perinatal mental health disorders in the antepartum period and up to 12 months postpartum.
Woman’s Hospital is seeking a moonlighting psychiatrist to help with coverage on our perinatal mental health unit. This moonlighting physician will assist in providing inpatient clinical services related to the evaluation and treatment of mental health disorders in the perinatal population. Expected work duties will entail unit rounding and assistance in overnight call as needed.

Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Active/Unrestricted medical license
