What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiologic Technologist - Imaging Services - Part Time position at Woman's Hospital?
Our Imaging Services team is seeking a registered Radiologic Technologist to join our team. This tech will be expected to perform all general radiology exams included but not limited to x-ray, fluoroscopy, portable, mammography, c-arm, and IR cases. Works directly with hospital employees, physicians, patients, families, visitors, and community health professionals.
Requirements:
- Completion of accredited program of Radiologic Technology and current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
- Current licensure with the Louisiana State Board of Radiologic Technology.
Responsibilities:
- Arranges supplies and equipment between each trip or patient and procedure to ensure timeliness of the examination. Assures availability of supplies/stocks.
- Reads and verifies physician order prior to exam. X-rays properly identified patient according to departmental policies and procedures, without delay. Orders or edits test as performed to assure proper billing.
- Performs all general radiology exams included but not limited to x-ray, fluoroscopy, portable, mammography, c-arm, and IR cases.
Schedule:
Part-Time / 3-4 days per week
Hours will vary but will include:
9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
This position will participate in the On-Call rotation of every 7th week
This position will be scheduled for 1-2 holidays per year
Pay Range:
Hourly/Non-Exempt
$27.00 - $44.00
