Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare professionals
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, health promotion, and management of chronic conditions
- Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, wound care, and minor surgical interventions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient response to treatment
- Utilize evidence-based guidelines and standards to deliver high-quality care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
Skills:
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in utilization management
- Experience working with special needs populations, including individuals with developmental disabilities
- Proficiency in psychopharmacology for the treatment of mental health conditions
- Familiarity with family planning services and reproductive health care
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and specimen collection processing
- Ability to utilize electronic medical record systems (e.g., Cerner) for documentation and communication
