Number of Beds – 14-22
Number of Staff – dependent on acuity and census
Type of staff : Day Shift – 4-6 nurses, Night Shift - 4-6 nurses
Patient Ratios – med / surg 4 / 1
Type of equipment – Not specified
EMR - meditech
Skill Set Most recruited for : Must have - candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Schedule Information
4 weekend days every 4 weeks.
No call
Unit Specific Information
Typical procedures performed on unit(s) : Cleft palate repair, appy, chest tube management, lumbar punctures, seizure management, noninvasive cardiology only, currently have services for neuro, ortho, gen surg, thoracic cases such as thoracotomy / thoracoscopy, pectus bar implants.
No neurosurgery or stroke
