Woman’s Hospital is seeking a NICU Nurse Manager to oversee the strategic and daily operations of our department while ensuring the highest quality of patient care. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing and current licensure with the Louisiana State Board of Nursing
- Certification in area of practice preferred
- Four years of experience as a registered nurse, primarily in the NICU
- Three years of progressively responsible leadership experience in nursing
- Strong leadership & decision-making abilities
- Ability to foster a culture of teamwork and continuous learning
Responsibilities of the NICU Nurse Manager:
- Lead & Inspire: Guide, mentor, and support a team of skilled nurses and allied health professionals
- Drive Quality Care: Implement best practices, quality initiatives, and performance improvement strategies
- Foster Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, hospital leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to state, federal, and regulatory standards
- Champion Education: Support professional development, evidence-based practice, and continued learning
Pay Range:
Salary; Exempt
$84,400 to $139,000 based on experience
