What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor, Patient Access - Patient Access - Full-Time position at Womans Hospital?
The Patient Access Supervisor provides leadership, support, and direction for patient access staff. Responsible for staffing and supervision of daily activities to produce successful outcomes for all patient encounters. Measures productivity and outcomes and works to ensure financial performance objectives related to revenue cycle initiatives are achieved.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate Degree preferred.
- CHAM or CHAA certification required within one year of hire.
- Five years of healthcare experience.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures all Patient Access Centralized Scheduling employees reach KPI performance metric targets and departmental standards of productivity and quality as set forth by the Director.
- Evaluates staffing productivity against current call and appointment request volumes and proposes necessary staffing changes to manager.
- Acts as a liaison between clinical staff, patients and families, and patient access staff.
- Participates in interviewing, hiring and progressive discipline processes.
- Orders supplies and maintains supply inventory for supervised areas.
- Manages relationships with other hospital areas.
- Any other duties as assigned by Woman's Hospital.

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Range:
Salary/Exempt
$22.00 – $33.00; based off work experience
