What are the responsibilities and job description for the CT Technologist 28E position at Women & Infants Hospital?
Job Summary: The CT Technologist interprets physicians orders and performs diagnostic radiography and CT Scans, demonstrating expertise in use of equipment. Prepares equipment, correctly positions patients, and applies proper techniques for procedures. Prepares required reports and documentation, maintains work area, and assists in other support activities for department, such as transporting patients.
Specifications: High school graduate and Registered Technologist. Registration through the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required. Must have and maintain current licensure as a radiographer and a Diagnostic Computer Tomography (CTD) license in the State of Rhode Island. Credentialed as Computer Tomography Technologist preferred. Must have at least one year of experience in spiral CT scanning, including multi-slice. Strong interpersonal and communications skills required. Must be fluent in the English language.
