The Women & Infants Hospital Surgical Services Department provides 24-hour care for those needing urgent and immediate surgical care. Our Operating Room is not only an obstetric surgical unit, but our physicians and nurses have OBGYN and specialized surgical training to treat a broader range of surgical issues.
Surgical Services provides a wide variety of surgical specialties such as Breast Health, Urogynecology, Gyn Oncology, Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery, General Gynecology, as well as Obstetrics.

Qualifications:
- Must have and maintain current licensure in the State of Rhode Island.
- Maintains CPR and any other credentials or certifications necessary to be competent as a Registered Nurse in the OR
- Must be proficient in the English language.
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and standards.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient care processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating leadership when needed.
