About Us:

Women Inspiring Women to Flourish Together (WIW) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women through personal growth, community engagement, and support initiatives. We are committed to fostering a positive, uplifting environment where women can connect, learn, and thrive together.

Position Overview:

We are seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to join our team. As a volunteer with WIW, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to empower women and make a meaningful impact in the community. This position offers flexibility with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to contribute both remotely and on-site in Decatur, AL.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and coordinating events, workshops, and community engagement activities.
• Provide support to women in the community through empathetic listening and compassionate interaction.
• Collaborate with the WIW team to develop and implement programs that promote personal growth and empowerment.
• Help with outreach efforts to engage more women in our initiatives and increase community participation.
• Contribute to social media campaigns and other promotional activities to raise awareness about WIW’s mission.
• Attend volunteer meetings and contribute ideas for improving the organization’s impact.
• Participate in on-site activities as needed in Decatur, AL.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy and compassion towards others.
• Ability to work well in a team setting.
• Passion for empowering women and supporting their personal growth.
• Experience in event planning or community engagement is a plus.
• Knowledge of women’s issues and empowerment initiatives.
• Ability to volunteer on-site in Decatur, AL as required.

Time Commitment:
