What are the responsibilities and job description for the Athletic Trainer or Certified Strength Coach knowledgeable in Blood Flow Restriction position at Women's Advantage Physical Therapy, Inc?
Women’s Advantage / Men’s Optimal Health Physical Therapy is a specialty pelvic health PT and OT clinic that has been in the South Bay Beach CIties south of Los Angeles for over 20 years and is growing rapidly.
We treat all genders for pelvic health challenges, pediatric bladder and bowel dysfunctions, as well as some oncology rehab and a little general ortho. We also offer cash Pilates classes to clients during or after their physical therapy plan of care. We are insurance based practice with 45 min sessions one on one with the PT or PTA, and do not utilize aides.
We are looking to hire an ATC or CSCS to provide workout classes for specific populations, like return to sport postpartum and recovering from Prolapse classes, utlizing BFR devices. We need classes to be provided when our clinic and gym as not being used as often for patients - early morning, late afternoons or Saturday afternoons. We possibly could run a couple midday classes during the week.
We need someone already trained and knowledgeable regarding using BFR as well as how to develop exercise classes/progressions.

Required:
ATC, CSCS, PTA or COTA certification
Completed training in BFR
