Who We’re Looking For
Women’s Care Center is seeking a director for our pro-life pregnancy center in Columbus, Ohio.
Position Summary and Job Responsibilities: The director is passionate about the mission, lives the mission and articulates the mission well to clients, staff, and the community.
Client Services
- Ensure that the center is providing excellent client care for women, working alongside the client care team/counselors as a “servant leader.” The director should have excellent client care/counseling skills and be a model/resource for the client care team.
- Oversee ultrasound program, working with other staff members and the medical director to make sure that ultrasounds are provided on a timely basis in accordance with our policies.
- Ensure proper, swift medical referrals are made for clients that need it and consult medical director for any questions or concerns.
Oversee Parenting Programs
- Oversee parenting instructors ensuring that classes are interesting, provided at optimal hours and use evidence-based curricula.
- Advertise classes in appropriate forums
- Schedule community-based guest speakers, as appropriate.
- Coordinate childcare during classes to increase attendance.
Day-to-Day Operations
- Make sure the center is always clean, organized and welcoming for clients. Ensure that client care spaces (especially counseling rooms) are optimal and comfortable
- Schedule outreach services to maximize attendance (i.e. Crib Club, parenting classes).
- Initiate repairs, maintenance and cleaning of the facility as needed.
- Confirm that adequate supplies are maintained.
- Ensure that the Crib Club is appropriately supplied within the confines of the budget and well-organized.
- Review client database and statistics, ensuring that data is accurate; prepare reports as needed.
Organizational Leadership – Staff and Volunteers
- Schedule staff and approve hours.
- Facilitate regular staff meetings.
- Ensure that staff are following policies and operational procedures.
- Conduct staff reviews and evaluations; serve as coach and mentor to staff.
- Responsible for hiring, retention, and termination of staff.
- Recruit and interview potential volunteers and maintain volunteer files.
- Train, schedule, and assign volunteers to useful and appropriate roles per volunteer skill set.
- Establish effective ways in which to retain and acknowledge volunteers.
- Coordinate volunteer appreciation events/activities.

- proficiency in MS Office
- experience with MS Excel
