About the Role:
As a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) at Women’s Care, you will provide full-scope midwifery services, including prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum care, and well-woman gynecological services. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team of physicians, midwives, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and support staff to offer individualized care that empowers women and promotes health and wellness. This is a full-time opportunity working on-site at our locations in Eugene and Springfield Oregon. We offer attractive pay and a great benefits package.
What will you do:
- Provide antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care to uncomplicated OB patients.
- Assess and document patient status through chart review, interview, and physical examination.
- Provide efficient, cost-effective care using evidence-based medicine and best practices including consultation, and collaboration, coordination, and referral services.
- Promote wellness using education, counseling, and written materials.
- Admit, manage, and deliver OB patients.
- Appropriately and promptly recognize and respond to the need for intervention and emergencies collaborate with physicians as needed.
- Make rounds on hospitalized, antepartum, and post-operative patients.
- Surgical first assist, will provide education and training as needed.
- Perform GYN patient annual and problem exams, contraception consultation, health screenings, and related procedures.
Requirements
What do you need to bring to the role:
- Certification as a Nurse Midwife (CNM) by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
- Must possess education commensurate with state licensure requirements for practice capacity in the state of Oregon with prescriptive privileges.
- Current BLS or ACLS certification.
