The Director of Provider Recruitment is responsible for managing projects, workflows, and people to fulfill the provider hiring targets of the organization. This position may also act in a full-cycle recruiter capacity to assist in filling open requisitions when needed.
- Creates and maintains all process documentation for Provider Recruitment operations. Shares processes with regional and local operations leadership, and provides training as needed.
- Participates in the development and implementation of programs, plans, policies, and procedures for recruitment, candidate interview process, and onboarding of provider candidates.
- Plans and manages activities of the Provider Recruiters and Coordinator with such functions as developing sources of qualified applicants, screening applicants, scheduling and conducting interviews, checking references and background, and evaluating applicant qualifications.
- Interfaces with the Women’s Care Marketing team to determine the most effective provider attraction methods. Tracks and analyzes all results.
- Develops and maintains contacts with educational institutions, search agencies, residency and fellowship programs, and other sources of applicants.
- Maintains contacts with all technology and other support vendors and contributes to the optimization of all systems.
- Represents the company at association meetings and other programs for candidate identification.
- Maintains data on recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews, and recruitment results to ensure high data integrity of all candidate records, internal and external reports, and correspondence.
- Reviews and analyzes data to monitor candidate flow, selection, and turnover, and inform Women’s Care leadership of significant trends.
- Oversees the training for all new hires to the Provider Recruitment team.
- Provides full-cycle recruitment for Physicians and APPs and manages own requisition load when needed.
- Demonstrates and embodies the Women’s Care mission and core values.
- Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of provider recruiting experience, with emphasis on physician recruiting.
- Prior experience leading a provider recruiting team and provider recruiting projects.
- Knowledge of all physician recruiting technologies, to include Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) as well as sourcing platforms like PracticeMatch, PracticeLink, Doximity, HealtheCareers, DocCafe, etc.
- Knowledge of physician sourcing methodologies and modern candidate screening practices.
- Ability to oversee the creation, negotiation and administration of provider employment agreements.
- Knowledge of basic provider educational cycles, credentialing processes, and licensures related to provider employment.
- Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
