Women’s Care is seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Protected Leaves Claim Processor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and managing leave claims under Paid Leave Oregon, FMLA, state-mandated leave programs, and company policies. You will work closely with patients to ensure compliance with leave laws and regulations.
About the Role:
This is a full-time opportunity working on-site at our clinics in Eugene/Springfield, Oregon. The position has an expectation of 40hrs per week (Monday – Friday) and we are proud to offer attractive pay and a great benefits package.
What will you do:
- Review and process patient requests for protected leaves, ensuring all required documentation is provided and accurate.
- Ensure all leave requests adhere to applicable federal, state, and company policies, including PLO, FMLA, ADA, and other protected leave laws.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding leave inquiries and statuses. Provide clear, timely updates regarding claim statuses.
- Verify the eligibility of employees for protected leave, review medical certifications or documentation, and confirm the proper length of leave.
- Maintain detailed records of all interactions and claim processing activities for compliance, auditing, and reporting purposes.
Requirements
What do you need to bring to the role:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- One year of medical office experience required.
