The Regional RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) Liaison is responsible for facilitating and managing communication between operational teams, leadership, and the RCM department. This role serves as the primary point of contact for all RCM related matters. The Regional RCM Liaison ensures process consistency, identifies areas for improvement, and collaborates with operational staff to drive successful outcomes. This position requires a proactive and collaborative individual who can manage tasks efficiently, maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, and support the development and execution of process improvements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all RCM-related matters including payment posting, AR follow-up, charge entry, coding (where applicable), and questions related to collections, pending claims, credentialing, and insurance enrollment.
- Address and resolve inquiries regarding claims submission, delays, and patient access issues (e.g., scheduling standards, insurance verification, patient collections).
- Provide support and guidance for operational staff regarding all aspects of the revenue cycle.
- Create and present monthly RCM metrics to leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and areas of success and opportunities for improvement.
- Compile bi-weekly reports for the Director of RCM and the CRO, tracking unit-specific issues, and escalating concerns when necessary.
- Coordinate monthly meetings with the Director of RCM and the CRO to review month-end results, providing detailed presentations for each unit's performance.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with operational staff and leadership, promoting a cooperative and solution-oriented work environment.
- Collaborate with assigned units and other Regional RCM Liaisons to identify opportunities for training, process improvement, and workflow optimization.
- Conduct at minimum monthly site visits to assigned units to provide ongoing support and maintain strong partnerships.
- Organize and schedule training sessions, ensuring the necessary documentation and materials are prepared to support RCM staff onboarding and development.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend changes to operational procedures and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Share best practices and educate staff on process improvements to address identified areas of underperformance.
- Ensure clear, professional, and consistent communication across all teams and stakeholders.
- Document all unit site visits and interactions thoroughly, ensuring alignment and coordination of engagement efforts.
- Identify and troubleshoot concerns, escalating issues according to established protocols when necessary.
- Think creatively to resolve challenges and drive continuous improvements in RCM operations.
- Triage concerns appropriately, ensuring efficient issue resolution while minimizing disruptions to the workflow.
- Work closely with operational and RCM stakeholders to develop and execute process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure effective communication and education on quality metrics, provider performance, and compliance.
- Demonstrate and embody the Women’s Care mission and core values.
- Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in revenue cycle management, healthcare RCM / operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of payment posting, AR follow-up, charge entry, claims submission, insurance verification and authorization.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build productive relationships with cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Experience in data analysis and report generation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement and problem-solving.
- 2 years EMR experience is required; eCW and Phreesia experience strongly preferred.
- Willing and able to travel up to 75% within assigned region.
- Ability to perform frequent site visits and interact with staff and leadership in assigned units.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
