We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Surgery Scheduler to join our Women's Care team.
About the Role:
The Surgery Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling surgical procedures for patients under the care of our OB-GYN and providers. This position requires excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills, as well as a strong understanding of medical terminology and insurance authorization processes. This is a full-time opportunity working at our Country Club Clinic in Eugene, Oregon. The position has an expectation of 40hrs per week with some potential remote options! What will you do:
- Accurately and efficiently schedule procedures at various contracted facilities for patients of all Women’s Care physicians/providers according to specifications established by each, utilizing the EMR and scheduling programs.
- Provides accurate, detailed information to patients regarding test preparations, time of arrival, and any other information needed prior to scheduled procedure/surgery and ensures that all necessary records, test, etc. have been obtained.
Requirements
What do you need to bring to the role:
- Experience: Two years of medical office experience required.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required.
