The Women’s Congressional Staff Foundation (WCSF) is looking to expand its board.
If you’re passionate about supporting the next generation of powerful women on Capitol Hill, we want you to join us as a board member of the Women's Congressional Staff Foundation (WCSF)!
WCSF's mission is to increase the number, rank, and leadership skills of women working for the U.S. Congress. To do that, we award scholarships to help young women who couldn’t otherwise afford to accept Capitol Hill internships and offer programs to make sure women who are already on the Hill are equipped to succeed in senior staff positions.
About You :
- You’re ready to work hard, think creatively, and make connections as we continue to make WCSF bigger and better!
- You come from any background or political affiliation. We are truly bicameral and bipartisan.
- We welcome and encourage diversity. And it’s a bonus if you have experience in fundraising, event planning or communications.
About Us :
Other expectations include : attending monthly meetings (including an annual retreat); doing the behind-the-scenes work necessary to make our scholarship and curriculum programs a continued success, such as drafting content, coordinating with donors and venders, and promoting our scholarship program. And getting involved with the annual fundraising event, which provides Capitol Hill internship opportunities for young women from disadvantaged backgrounds.
