We are seeking a Surgery Scheduler to join our team at the Women's Health Center of Southern Oregon. Responsibilities
- Schedule surgical procedures efficiently while coordinating with medical staff and patients.
- Manage patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their surgery details and preparation requirements.
- Utilize scheduling software to maintain accurate appointment records.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize surgical schedules and resources.
- Address patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service throughout the scheduling process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in medical scheduling or a similar role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with medical office software is preferred.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
