What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Women's Health Partners?
Provide excellent patient care while preparing patients to see providers. Ability to pay attention to detail, maintain high levels of concentration, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Update all patient medications in the medication history at each visit.
Perform patient related tasks as directed by practice providers.
Knowledge of electronic medical records and appointment systems
Facilitate the timely communication of clinical advice to patients electronically or by phone as directed by practice providers.
Ensure all needed medical records are available to care teams and providers prior to patient’s office visit.
Coordinate with other team members to provide exceptional patient service.
Assist with other clinical and clerical duties to ensure optimization of patient experience within the practice which may include cross training in other areas of the office when needed.
Ability to communicate effectively through interpersonal skills with patients, medical providers, colleagues and visitors. Being a team player!
Knowledge of community health resources.
Knowledge of computers, word processing and utilization of fax and copier machines.
Licensure/Certification: Current Certified Medical Assistant Certificate or Registered Medical Assistant. Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.
Language Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
