Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires effective leadership skills and the ability to supervise projects while ensuring all work is completed to high standards.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including electrical repairs, plumbing, and HVAC system maintenance.
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety regulations.
- Fabricate and weld components as needed for repairs or installations.
- Conduct residential painting and touch-ups to maintain aesthetic appeal.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring they are safe for use.
- Document maintenance activities and report any significant repairs or replacements needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations across all maintenance functions.
Qualifications
- Facility maintenance person will provide maintenance and repair on all routine and emergency repairs, modifications, and installations needed for ongoing maintenance of all buildings. This includes plumbing, electrical, carpentry, tile, flooring, painting, doors, windows, light gardening, routine remodeling, inspections, and any other areas as defined and agreed upon by both parties. Facility Maintenance person is comfortable performing all jobs normally within parameters of residential remodeling. This position will provide all tools needed for the above work and maintain liability insurance and worker's comp insurance if required, and any and all other necessary contracting licenses. Proven experience in a maintenance role, with strong mechanical knowledge.
- Proficiency in electrical systems, welding, residential painting, and general repair techniques.
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams or projects preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
Schedule:
