Position Summary : WomenVenture is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to fill the newly created role of Reporting & Data Specialist. The ideal candidate will help the organization leverage data to measure and communicate impact, achieve funding goals, make informed decisions, and optimize our programs. The Reporting and Data Specialist will work closely with all departments to collect, analyze, and present data-driven insights that contribute to the overall success of our mission. Core Duties & Responsibilities : Grant Report Management : Collaborate with the Development Director, CAMO, and Grant Writer on reports needed for grants received Lead WomenVenture s grant reporting, including : o Manage and maintain a comprehensive Grant Master Spreadsheet o Manage the data collection on grant deliverables o Write and submit grant reports to funders o Understand all the grant proposal report requirements Understands terms of the award and funding requirements Keep tabs on program activities Collaborate with subject matter experts, administration, finance, lending, training, business development Collaborate with the finance department to monitor spending vs. budget requirements for restricted grants Agency Reporting and Dashboards : Generate regular reports and PowerBI dashboards to communicate organization key performance metrics Generate scheduled and ad-hoc reports required by funding and partner organizations Provide timely and actionable insights to support decision-making processes across all departments Data Collection and Cleaning : Collaborate with each department to establish data collection and management best practices Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency in reports Execute data cleaning projects to enhance reliability of historical data Data Analysis : Conduct quantitative analysis using statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within datasets Utilize data visualization tools, including Microsoft PowerBI, to present findings and insights to Leadership Team and other key stakeholders Impact Assessment : Lead and continuously enhance WomenVenture s impact measurement and management strategy in alignment with our mission, goals and strategic plan as well as innovations and developments in the market Collaborate with Leadership Team to design and implement metrics and key performance indicators for program evaluation Collaboration : Develop internal training and learning loops to better understand the impact of our work and how to continually improve it Collaborate with CRM & Operations Manager to inform and implement automation in Microsoft Dynamics CRM to assist in maintaining clean and accurate data Collaborate with program managers, development teams, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and provide analytical support Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvement based on data analysis Document processes and keep standard operating procedures updated for reporting and data management Make recommendations for optimizing programs and operations Make recommendations based on trend analysis for filling gaps in community needs for small businesses and entrepreneurs Continuously monitor trends in the impact domain to evolve WomenVentu e into a leadership role in designing, delivering and capturing impact as a CDFI and nonprofits. This includes understanding & application of impact frameworks, impact reporting, and impact-industry best practices Other duties, tasks, and responsibilities that may be assigned at any time. Required Skills and Experience : 2 years of report writing experience Proven experience in grant reporting Strong technical writing 2 years experience in data analytics, preferably in a nonprofit setting Strong project management skills Expertise in data analysis tools and languages such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R Understanding of nonprofit finance budgeting, fundraising, and advancement Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI) Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical findings to non-technical stakeholders Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization to drive initiatives and ensure successful project execution Excellent cultural competencies and ability to collaborate across diverse perspectives, ideas, and people with diverse backgrounds High level of commitment to issues of gender equality and the social mission of the agency Preferred Skills and Experience : Experience with Microsoft Suite including Microsoft Dynamics CRM Benefits : WomenVenture takes great pride in providing exceptional benefits to our staff.
