Travel and Administrative Advocate

For over 40 years the Women's Center of East Texas has served survivors of domestic abuse, their witnessing children, and victims of sexual assault. We are looking for a compassionate, service-oriented Travel and Administrative Associate at our Shelter who have a desire to assist these clients. 

What you would be doing in this role:

• Providing clients with quality client-centered, trauma informed care.
• Scheduling and providing transportation for clients.
• Maintaining supplies such as groceries and office supplies.
• Maintain shelter upkeep including room preparation and sanitation.

Qualifications

The qualifications you need for this role:

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelors Degree in related field or combination of social services experience and education.
• High proficiency in computer skills, including learning a unique client database system.
• Clean driving record
• Basic knowledge of Family Violence preferred.
• Knowledge and experience of working in residential/shelter environment preferred.
• Regular shifts are weekdays but must be available to work various shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends.

• High moral and ethical standards.
• Ability to complete required training assignments and understand the dynamics of Family Violence and other related issues.

Salary : $17 - $20
