Housekeeping Aide
Full-time
Qualifications of Housekeeping Aide:
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience is preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be available to work weekends
Responsibilities of Housekeeping Aide:
- A Housekeeping Assistant is selected to perform cleaning tasks in order to maintain a clean and sanitary facility. The housekeeper must be trained or experienced in the proper cleaning methods in accordance with the health and sanitation code requirements of the State and/or local authorities.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- The building and all its parts and facilities shall be kept in clean, neat and attractive. The safety and comfort of residents shall be the first consideration.
- All walls, floors, ceilings, windows and fixtures shall be kept clean. Interior walls and floors shall be of a character to permit frequent and easy cleaning.
- Patient’s rooms will be cleaned daily.
- The facility shall be kept free of unnecessary accumulations of personal possessions, boxes, trunks, suitcases, papers, unused furniture, bed clothing, linens, bric-a-brac and similar items.
