Job Title: IT Coordinator

Reports to: VP Operations

Location: 21 Commerce Street, Wilmington, DE 19801

Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week

Position Summary

The IT Coordinator will work with the VP Operations, internal and external IT teams on all IT related support and projects. The IT coordinator is the primary point of contact for all IT related needs in the facility and is responsible for managing all hardware and software needs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor IT devices used by all employees, as well as locally hosted server setup
• Maintain Server updates and monitor performance
• Troubleshoot server needs and maintain uptime
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
• Develop and maintain local networks and VPN between facilities
• Work with outside consultants to implement updates and customizations to internal systems including Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Parity Factory
• Identify computer or network equipment shortages, research solutions, and place orders
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without interrupting others from completing their work
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging, etc.) both locally and at our remote facilities
• Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (printers, scanners etc.)
• Manage the local domain – active directory (join computers, register users, etc.)
• Check computer hardware (HDD, mice, keyboards, printers, etc.) to ensure functionality
• Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
• Perform other related duties as assigned
  
  

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2016
• Experience with VMWare Virtual Machines
• Experience configuring and managing VPN networks
• ERP management experience, Microsoft Dynamics NAV preferred
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
• In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
  
  

Education and Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science, engineering, or relevant field preferred
• Certifications will be an advantage (A , MCITP, MCSA SQL, MTA, etc.)
• Minimum of 0-2 years of IT experience
