What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Guest Service Representative position at WONDER VALLEY RANCH RESORT?
Do you enjoy interacting with people everyday? Then being a Guest Services Representative may be the right position for you! You will provide that critical first impression that will set the tone for our guests entire Wonder Valley experience. You will be responsible for performing day to day duties while running an efficient front desk.
Essential Functions:
- Display top quality guest services
- Responsible for taking resort reservations
- Responsible for taking horseback riding reservations
- Manage all incoming and outgoing mail/packages
- Answer multi-line phone system
- Data entry
- Respond to or transfer client emails when appropriate
- Transfer calls to each office, department, and individuals effectively
- Display professional phone etiquette
- Ensure front office and lobby area look professional and welcoming at all times
- Request for housekeeping or maintenance attention when required
- Assist guests with gift shop transactions
- Guest check-in/check-out procedures and records
- Balance bank register and handle cash register transactions
- Take written messages during River Way Ranch Camp season for seasonal staff
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Experience in guest services
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to organize time and multitask efficiently
- Must have a good attitude and be a team player
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn other computer programs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
