Housekeeping Attendant

We are currently looking for a Housekeeping Attendant to join our team!

Full Time (Evening, Weekend Availability).

$16.50-$17.50 Hourly

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you’ll be responsible for performing routine housekeeping duties in the cleaning and servicing of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Enters and prepares the room for cleaning
• Inspect sleeping and meeting rooms when appropriate and inform Housekeeping Supervisor of any issues
• Ensure guest privacy and security
• Conducts continual inspections of sleeping rooms, meeting rooms, and public areas to determine the resorts overall level of cleanliness; performs follow-ups
• Advices for the need of any maintenance work orders in regard to replacement or repair of furniture, fixtures, etc.
• Understand laundry equipment and assist in the completion of laundry duties
• Attends to guest calls and requests when needed
• Promotes positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly, and should be able to address guest requests and issues
• Responsible for achieving and exceeding guest satisfaction scores
• Removes trash and soiled linens
• Checks for proper bed configurations
• Makes Bed(s)
• Dusts the room and furniture
• Clean and sanitizes bathrooms
• Replenishes amenities according to operational standards
• Delivers and retrieves items on loan to guests
• Ensures security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
• Performs rotational cleaning duties
• Attends to guest calls and requests in assigned area
• Responsible for providing turndown service as required
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Must have a high school education or equivalency
• Minimum 1-2 years in Hospitality Industry
• Requires physical mobility and stamina
• Maintain a professional attitude
• Must be able to follow directions
• Must be able to work independently and in a team setting
• Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
• Extended long hours are sometimes required
• Adhere to all property policies and practices
• Report to work punctually and regularly
• Work safely and successfully, including meeting productivity standards
• Adhere to established grooming and uniform standards
• Be a part of fostering an environment that encourages high standards and enthusiasm.
