The K-12 Music, Band, and Choir Teacher is responsible for developing students' musical abilities, leading band and choir, organizing performances, and fostering a love of music in students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Key Responsibilities: Teach music classes to students in various grade levels. Instruct students on music theory, history, and techniques. Direct and lead bands and choir in rehearsals and performances. Organize and coordinate musical events such as concerts, pep band, and competitions. Collaborate with other teachers and staff on cross-curricular projects. Provide individualized instruction to students based on their skill levels. Maintain music instruments and equipment. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field. State teaching certification in Music Education. Experience in teaching music to students of diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in playing musical instruments and conducting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
