Sanitation Worker/production (BILINGUAL ENG/SPA)

Job Description

Wonton Food Inc., a leader in food manufacturing industry, is currently seeking Sanitation Workers for our facility in La Vergne, TN to carry out various tasks in our busy facility and production floor. The successful applicant will be responsible for cleaning and sanitization of production areas while adhering to all facility safety guidelines and standards.

Essential Functions

· Follow all safety procedures and ensure adherence to all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines.

· Follow Logout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

· Clean and sanitize all work areas, machinery, and equipment as needed such as mixers, blades, belts, rollers, etc.

· Implement Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) and best practices with the Quality department including implementing color codes.

· Understand the function and basic operation of all production equipment.

· Adhere to company guidelines when performing machine cleaning.

· Use of undiluted caustic chemicals while wearing appropriate PPE

· Take initiative to identify potential areas for process improvement.

· Report any safety concerns immediately to supervisor to ensure safe work environment.

· Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

· Tasks assigned by the direct supervisor included but not limited to the above functions.

Able to work on foot for extended periods of time

Shifts: Positions available Night Shift Only (10pm- 6:30am) Monday-Saturday
