Duties
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Ensure all food items are properly stored, labeled, and rotated to maintain freshness.
- Sanitate kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
- Support the culinary team with food production tasks, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices in all aspects of food handling.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely meal service while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak service times.
- Participate in training sessions related to food safety and kitchen procedures as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food industry setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is highly desirable.
