Contractor Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated contractor to assist with the implementation of CDC Project
Firstline infection prevention and control (IPC) materials in healthcare facilities throughout Wood
County. This position involves preparing training materials, supporting training set-up and
execution, and traveling to healthcare facilities to ensure successful implementation.
Contractor Responsibilities/Scope of Work:
- Support the preparation of Project Firstline infection prevention and control materials and
packets, and preparing other educational resources.
- Travel to healthcare facilities in Wood County to support training set-up and
- Utilize Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to create and manage training content.
- Communicate and collaborate on project materials via Microsoft Teams.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for both in-office and remote tasks related
to the project.
Work location: 80% in-office and 20% remote.
Hours: 4 to 12 hours per week or 1 to 3 events
Grant Timeframe: Now through August 2025
Compensation: $150 per event;
- Mileage for travel to healthcare facilities is not included as part of compensation.
- Demonstrate understanding of infection prevention and control best practices,
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable transportation for travel to healthcare facilities within Wood County.
- Experience with training healthcare workers.
