Dietitian/ Full Time / Days Provides personal care and professional excellence by assessing nutrition status and addressing the nutrition needs of clients both inpatient and outpatient. Provides the appropriate nutrition education for patients. Works with physicians and staff to promote the best nutritional environment for clients.Assess and provide Medical Nutrition therapy for outpatient clients, medical weight loss and bariatric clients.
Assess Diabetes Education clients with Pre-Diabetes, Type 1, Type 2 and/or gestational diabetes and provide the appropriate education via classes or individual sessions.
Develop plan of care for Medical Nutrition Therapy and Diabetes clients collaborating with other members of the health care teams.
Experience with Medical Weight Loss, Bariatric Weight loss or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist preferred.
Must be a Registered Dietitian/Licensed in State of Ohio
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
B.S. or advanced degree in foods and nutrition or related area. Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics). Must be a licensed dietitian with the State of Ohio. A registered dietitian who is a Board-Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) preferred for the outpatient position.
