Qualifications
- Master's Degree, Preferred
- Minimum 5 years teaching experience at the elementary and/or middle school level
- Endorsement in Reading Teacher or Reading Specialist or will obtain
- Endorsement in ESL or will obtain
- Experience in leading data discussions
- Excellent at differentiating instruction
- Experience developing instructional units using Understanding by Design
- Experience with standards-based assessment and reporting
- Experience integrating technology as a resource in a 1:1 learning environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to build relationships with the teaching staff
- Self-motivated
- Organized
- Flexible
- Able to lead and develop excellent teachers
- Initiates tasks and able to complete them with little to no supervision
- Well versed in engaging student resources or willing to research to find them
- Contributes positively to school and district culture
- Creative and innovative
- Takes initiative for own professional development

Job Summary:
- Implements and creates engaging lessons that align with the Wood Dale 7 curriculum
- Skillfully integrates technology into the curriculum in a 1:1 Chromebook environment
- Knowledge of Illinois content standards (Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science, WIDA, SEL)

Qualifications:
Professional teaching license with ESL and Spanish Bilingual endorsement
