SUMMARY
Responsible for the receiving, record keeping & distribution of Finished Parts Inventory, consisting of engine parts and ancillary hardware required to support customer orders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The position includes but is not limited to the following essential duties and responsibilities.
- Unpack and examine incoming shipments, record shortages, and correspond with appropriate representatives to rectify damages/shortages.
- Perform outbound delivery processes and participate in picking/packing activities as required.
- Post weights and shipping charges, affix postage, stencils or identifying information, and shipping instructions onto crates or containers.
- Electronically record shipping, receiving, & Inventory transactions into the company ERP system.
- Execute routine cycle counts on inventory in various warehouse locations.
- Address discrepancies and conduct recounts when needed.
- Utilize forklift expertise to navigate and count items stored in different areas.
- Uphold safety protocols and ensure compliance with forklift operation guidelines.
- Assist in the movement and reorganization of warehouse inventory.
- Support receiving, processing and storage of rotable inventory for overhaul repair.
- Foster effective communication with team members to streamline inventory management.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with the team.
- Possess basic computer skills including electronic mail and Microsoft Office Applications.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School equivalent to plus one-year related experience.
- Hold a valid forklift certification with practical experience.
- Prior experience in cycle counting and inventory verification.
- PIV Certificate preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools and controls. The employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
