Maintenance Technician

Join a dynamic team at GMP-compliant food manufacturing facility as a Machine Maintenance Technician. This position plays a critical role in the maintenance, repair, and optimization of plant machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production operations. Location: Nashville, TN
Shift Available: Friday – Sunday, 5am-5pm (Training Monday – Friday)
Pay: $26 an hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC issues on equipment.
• Use Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures to ensure the safety of the maintenance team and production staff.
• Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure equipment runs smoothly.
• Document repairs and track parts usage.
• Set up and test equipment to ensure it meets operational specifications.
• Work closely with Production, QA, and Management teams to ensure efficient operations and resolve issues as they arise.
• Perform preventive maintenance as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong background in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• AC/DC motor controls and PLC logic experience is preferred.
• Previous experience in a food processing environment is preferred
• Experience with seamer equipment, retort systems, or packaging equipment repairs is preferred
