We are seeking an Administrator/Requisitioner to join our team in the Texas/New Mexico Area. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and strong time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Create and/or revise purchase requisitions.
- Assist end-users with purchase requisition submission inquiries.
- Build purchase orders, expedite, and coordinate the lifecycle of a purchase order from requisition receipt to supplier payment.
- Lead request for quote (RFQ) sourcing events.
- Strategically source, propose pricebook additions, and manage contracts for consistently purchased inventory materials.
- Identify and implement process improvement activities.
- Specialize in transactional processes and provide system utilization guidance for efficient transactional activities.
- Able to review error reports and determine root cause issue(s) and proactively resolve open issues, including reaching out to vendors and stakeholders for additional information and documentation.
Qualifications

Basic/Required:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen.
- Basic level of proficiency with SAP or SMART by GEP.
- 3 years of experience in purchasing or a related field.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word.
Preferred:
- Basic level of proficiency with SAP or SMART by GEP.
- 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Efficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with productive collaboration skills.
