Responsibilities
- Supporting implementation of HSE Mandates in coordination with management
- Assisting in providing the necessary HSE services relative to the working location
- Implementing HSE policies and procedures
- Supporting developing, implementing, and revising a site-specific HSE plan
- Monitoring compliance to HSE standards; including monitoring client HSE requirements; conducting scheduled field visits and inspections; recommending and following through on corrective actions
- Supporting site-specific HSE training requirements
- Analyzing statistical data, inspection reports and compliance survey results; tracking and trending results
- Assisting in the investigation of incidents for root cause identification and preventive action
- Monitoring the procurement needs and the training requirements for personal protective equipment
- Supporting new hire orientation process
- Supporting managing control of health and environmental hazards and exposures
- Managing the first aid, and medical emergency services needs
- Monitoring the HSE recognition program
- Networking with other HSE professionals and sharing best practices / lessons learned
- Pursuing continuing education opportunities and career development
- Engaging in Realizing Zero - Zero Harm Culture initiatives
- Actively participating in HEART and PTSA auditing
- Project start-up and readiness review support
- Planning development including SEP's
- Risk assessments and hazard control measures
- Training and education
