Job Description
Are you looking for a position with a stable company that has much to offer? Wood is currently recruiting Plant Operators to join our team based out of Upton, Wyoming, which is located near Gillette, Wyoming. This position will be responsible for operating a Rare Earth Test Plant to ensure optimum plant performance. Includes monitoring processing equipment, performing inspections and conducting preventive maintenance.
Candidates located in Upton, Sundance, Moorcroft and Gillette Wyoming preferred but not required.
Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required
Responsibilities
- Work schedules are shift work rotating 12 hours shifts
- Understand safety procedures and safety mechanisms to ensure safety standards are met, maintained and optimized.
- Optimize processing throughout the facility and maintain proper product specifications
- Monitor plant equipment and troubleshoot plant issues with solution-based mindsets.
- Provides communication to Wood Site Supervisor and client to ensure alignment on process equipment conditions, production targets and facility challenges.
- Critical thinking skills while operating facility in relation to incident management.
- During times of construction, retrofits, downtime, and other non-operating conditions, seek to help prioritize facility needs to maximize the skillsets of the available team members to achieve the timeliest, safest, cost-effective and best outcomes.
