Responsibilities
- Performs various tasks in each of the three project phases : Design Development; Construction Documents; Construction Administration
- Daily activities include problem-solving on both large projects and small consultations for project managers and other disciplines.
- Provides a wide range of architectural services while maintaining a sense of urgency and prioritization of tasks.
- Participates and coordinates the preparation and quality of construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
- Responsible to review and rectify the design related to all applicable Codes and produce documents including Life-Safety, Egress, and General Code Compliance drawings and narratives.
- Helps to coordinate multiple-discipline overlays, construction techniques, and sequences.
- Effectively addresses problems and questions as they occur during construction.
- Writes reports such as feasibility studies, design criteria, and material recommendations.
- Assists with coordination of all aspects of other disciplines as they affect the building envelope and interior.
- The candidate will follow projects through approvals and construction.
