Wood Rodgers, a leading engineering consulting firm, is hiring a Help Desk Analyst to join our Technology Department. We seek individuals at the Tier 1 and Tier 2 level that can translate technical knowledge into action.
This is a staffed, hourly, non-exempt position.
A day in the life as a Wood Rodgers' Help Desk Analyst
Acts as a liaison providing critical client base support to internal staff members.
Resolve tier 1 and 2 trouble tickets.
Diagnoses, identifies, isolates and analyzes problems utilizing historical database records and online SOP's.
Takes ownership and ensures proper processes are documented for efficient support.
Escalates unresolved issues to the appropriate technical support partners.
Documents all trouble ticket interactions in Solar Winds Service Desk.
Shares knowledge and proactively identifies the needs of the organization.
Maintains and updates records and tracking databases.
Assist with inventory and life-cycle replacement of workstation hardware and software.
Occasional travel to support sites.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of 4 years of Help Desk experience required.
An ability to be sympathetic to user issues and a drive to help.
1st and 2nd line support – Critical thinking and troubleshooting related to problems ranging from M365 applications, Virtual Desktops, in-house software and hardware such as mobile phones, laptops, PCs, and printers.
Basic knowledge of Active Directory, network equipment, and operating systems.
Experienced in Office 365 environment and products including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
Ability to adapt quickly and respond in a fast pace changing work environment.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently when required.
Collaborative team player, committed to improving processes, sharing knowledge, and adding value to the team.
Continually seek ways to bring innovative ideas to the workplace
Valid driver’s license and ability for occasional travel, including weekends and holidays
Microsoft certifications are a plus.
Associates degree or higher is preferred.
Experience with AutoCAD and GIS a plus

The range does not reflect geographic variations and may fluctuate above or below the stated amount. Offers will be based on several factors, including experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, training, and location. Base pay is just one part of the comprehensive compensation package offered by Wood Rodgers.
