Wood Rodgers, a leading engineering consulting firm, is hiring a Marketing Coordinator to join our Corporate Communications Department located in Orange or San Diego, CA. We are seeking a highly motivated individual that desires to actively collaborate and contribute to our growing team in southern California.

This is a staffed, hourly, non-exempt position.

A day in the life as a Wood Rodgers' Marketing Coordinator

Develop winning proposals and presentations for engineering projects.
Assist with graphics, writing, and proofreading.
Coordinate production of marketing collateral.
Conduct client and project research.
Write resume, boiler plate information, project descriptions, etc.
Collaborate with industry partners including sub consultants and contractors.
Work with technical staff to develop proposal sections and scopes of work.
Maintain vendor relationships including photographers, printers, promotions vendors and other consultants related to marketing materials.
Coordinate awards competition entries; ensure compliance with award requirements.
Contribute to CRM maintenance and data entry related to clients, consultants, personnel, and mailing lists; maintain content library, including prior proposals, boilerplates, and visuals.
Embrace and implement brand standards.
Plan marketing activities and coordinate special events.
Actively involved in professional and community organizations, including the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS).

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

3 years of relevant experience.

AEC industry marketing experience preferred.

Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign.

Proficient in MS Office.

Hands-on experience with Customer Relationship Management Systems.

Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms.

Organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Understanding of basic marketing principles.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, creative writing skills a plus.

Ability to adapt to changing situations daily.

Team-focused mentality.

The range does not reflect geographic variations and may fluctuate above or below the stated amount. Offers will be based on several factors, including experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, training, and location. Base pay is just one part of the comprehensive compensation package offered by Wood Rodgers.
