Position Summary:
Wood Violet Recovery is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Executive Director to lead our clinical, medical, and operational programs. This role is responsible for defining and executing the organization’s vision and strategic direction, ensuring high standards of care, safety, and compliance. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, the Executive Director will oversee the Director of Nursing, Clinical Director, and Operations Director, while fostering a culture of excellence, stability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide visionary leadership to staff and residents, promoting a culture of compassion, stability, and accountability.
Drive strategic planning initiatives that align with Wood Violet Recovery’s mission and long-term goals.
Oversee day-to-day operations and implement systems to maintain high-quality, cost-effective services.
Ensure facilities and grounds meet company standards through proactive maintenance and regular inspections.
Lead efforts to meet occupancy goals and enhance the overall client experience.
Maintain site compliance in coordination with the Director of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs, adhering to Joint Commission and state/federal regulations.
Collaborate closely with the Director of Admissions, VP of Revenue, and insurance teams to ensure seamless service delivery and safe admissions.
Maintain fiscal responsibility, operating within budgetary guidelines and ensuring efficient use of resources.
Build and sustain strong partnerships with external organizations to support and elevate the mission of Wood Violet Recovery.
Review and authorize agreements and contracts on behalf of the organization.
Supervise and support senior staff across departments to drive performance and growth.
Lead the planning and execution of the organization’s annual budget and strategic goals.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Vice President of Operations.
Qualifications and Preferences:
Master’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience in a related field.
Minimum of five years of senior management experience, ideally in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
Proven track record of transparent, ethical leadership.
Strong organizational and delegation skills with experience in program development.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Deep understanding of behavioral health systems and community engagement.
Ability to effectively manage and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, volunteers, and contractors.
