- Project Planning & Scheduling:
- Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules using project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Conduct research and gather data to support project planning and scheduling activities.
- Assist in the identification and mitigation of potential project risks and issues.
- Procurement & Contracts:
- Assist in the preparation of procurement documents, such as requests for proposals (RFPs) and purchase orders.
- Conduct vendor research and evaluations.
- Support contract administration activities, including tracking progress and resolving disputes.
- Cost Control:
- Assist in tracking project costs and preparing cost reports.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project budgets.
- Identify and analyze cost variances.
- Project Communication:
- Assist in the preparation of project status reports, presentations, and meeting minutes.
- Support communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Other Duties as Assigned:
- Participate in project meetings and site visits.
- Conduct research on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Assist with other project-related tasks as needed.
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
