As a Water Infrastructure Project Engineer at Woodard & Curran, you will play a critical role in delivering innovative solutions for water, wastewater, and/or recycled water services to municipal clients across our geographies and core markets. With a focus on technical expertise and project management, you will work closely with project managers and staff engineers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of services.
About the Job
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing effective solutions for water, wastewater, and/or recycled water services.
- Providing expert advice and support to municipal clients on sewer and drain pipeline inspection, risk assessment, rehabilitation, and understanding Sewer System Evaluation Survey (SSES) and municipal compliance.
- Preparing engineering reports and contract documents for construction, and overseeing the construction of designed projects.
- Collaborating with project managers and staff engineers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of services.
- Mentoring and directing staff on technical assignments, and reviewing technical work completed by engineers under supervision.
To be successful in this role, you will need 2-8 years of engineering experience, a B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, and knowledge of AutoCAD software. You must also be able to make decisions independently on engineering problems and methods, and interact with clients in a professional manner.
